Elisabeth Messenger

Upon earning her Journalism degree from the University of South Carolina, Elisabeth put her degree to good use in the publicity department at Atlantic Records in Los Angeles, CA. From there, she learned how to build organizations that would impact culture through positions in operations and business development at Universal Music Group, VEVO, and Beats Music. Elisabeth also spent a year in Belfast, Northern Ireland working for a charity devoted to peace and reconciliation. Prior to joining the Gevura Fund, Elisabeth held leadership positions at several nonprofit organizations focused on free market policies and protecting first amendment rights.
